CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE - THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR THE FIFTH DISTRICT
I have been licensed to practice law since 1996 after graduating from Capital University Law School while working full-time for the U.S. Army Reserve. I have served as a Magistrate and Staff Attorney for the Court of Claims of Ohio, and as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General under Betty Montgomery. I spent 15 years in private practice defending physicians, nurses, and healthcare facilities in medical malpractice lawsuits. I currently practice as a Senior Trial Attorney for Nationwide Insurance defending Nationwide, and its insureds, in complex litigation.
I have devoted my entire 26+ year career to litigation. I have argued numerous Ohio appellate cases and twice before the Supreme Court of Ohio. I am admitted to the Ohio bar, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
I am a graduate of the Patrick J. Tiberi Leadership Institute. I am a member of Capital University Law School Order of the Curia, Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, Federalist Society, Ohio State Bar Foundation, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, National Rifle Association, and the Ohio Farm Bureau.
I served 20 years in the U.S. Army Reserve as both an enlisted soldier and officer. I was commissioned through ROTC, as a distinguished military graduate, and retired as a Captain. I served in a variety of units from medical to transportation, including as the aide-de-camp to Major General R.C. Gibbs, Commander 83d Army Reserve Command, as a transportation company commander, and as a battalion staff officer.
I formerly served as a member of the Delaware County Republican Party Central Committee, Treasurer, Executive Committee, and as a member of the Liberty Township Zoning Commission. I live in Delaware County with my wife Jennifer. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. We are members of the Lewis Center United Methodist Church.
I love America’s pastime – baseball, and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
